Vacuum freeze dryer common issues and troubleshooting techniques

The drying of medium- and high-level raw materials, such as Chinese medical substances, Chinese medicinal substances, biology, wild vegetables, dried vegetables, food, fruits, chemicals, and pharmaceutical intermediates, is suited for vacuum freeze dryers. The device can be used in conjunction with a dehumidification system, heat transfer oil heating system, vacuum system, and refrigeration system. A novel box form is presented that enables freezing and vacuum drying while utilizing all of the available storage space.

Manufacturers of freeze dryers have recently increased technological innovation, encouraged greater equipment breakthroughs, and better utilized it in the pharmaceutical drying sector as a result of the ongoing development of the pharmaceutical business in my nation. As we all know, if there is a failure during the dryer's operation, it is simple for it to affect the operation. However, there will undoubtedly be some bugs while using the system. To make decisions and troubleshoot quickly, they must comprehend the root of the problem and its solution.

What are the common failures of vacuum freeze dryers? What is the solution?

Common failure one: power supply voltage is unstable

It is understood that the normal working power supply voltage of the vacuum freeze dryer is 215-225V. If the voltage deviates from the allowable range, the compressor will not work effectively or even run at all. For the problem of unstable power supply voltage, the solution is to replace a qualified power supply when the power supply voltage is unqualified; when the power supply voltage is unstable, you can use an AVR (220V) or a voltage regulator on the original working power supply.

Common fault 2: The indoor temperature is higher than 30℃

The freeze dryer needs to operate in a suitable environment. When the indoor temperature is higher than 30℃, the condenser may not be able to condense, so the system will malfunction. The maintenance method at this time is that if the indoor temperature is around 28°C, the user can open the back door of the condenser or open the room door to optimize the ventilation and cooling conditions.

Common failure 3: The indoor temperature is lower than 0℃

The indoor temperature is too high or too low. If the indoor temperature is lower than 9°C, the compressor oil will become viscous, which will easily affect the normal operation of the compressor. In addition, when the temperature is too low, all electronic components may be affected and misoperation may occur. In view of this situation, the maintenance method recommended by technicians is to use other heating equipment to increase the ambient temperature when the ambient temperature is below 0°C, and keep the temperature above 5°C and below 30°C.

Common failure 4: Excessive dust on the vacuum freeze dryer or in the environment

It is understood that if the condenser and compressor are covered with too much dust, it is easy to make the condenser unable to achieve the condensation effect, which directly affects the use effect of the compressor. Therefore, regular dust removal is essential. The industry suggests that if there is too much dust in the environment, users can regularly remove the dust covering the compressor and condenser every month. To ensure that the equipment is not damaged, a soft brush can be used to remove dust from the compressor, condenser and pipeline.
